Bio
My name is Lilly Guilbeault, and I am a third-year McGill student majoring in Psychology and double minoring in Biology and Behavioural Science. As someone who is driven by curiosity, I am really interested in research, science communication and accessibility! I am also an illustrator for The Tribune, a student-run journal, and am often trying to find ways to intersect science and art. I believe you can’t have one without the other! I am also a member of McGill’s Digital Usability Panel, where we work towards creating a more accessible campus and community, bridging the gap between students and those who create our current structures.
- Research Interests
My research interests are definitely varied. I am very interested in neuroscience research, currently in the field of vision and object perception and recognition. I am always intrigued by math and physics and the intersections of those within the field of neuroscience and biology. I believe that good research is research that takes into account diverse experiences and perspectives, whether that be given by people from different fields, varied patient cohorts/participant groups, etc.Â
